64th American Translators Association (ATA) annual conference
In October 2023, I am once again attending the world’s largest translation conference. This year’s ATA conference will take place in Miami, Florida, and I will spend a total of 3 weeks working remotely while exploring the Sunshine State and Baltimore, Maryland. This is yet another perfect opportunity for me to hone my language skills, meet clients and stay on top of recent technological trends.
I look forward to (re)connecting with clients and colleagues and expanding my skills in countless advanced training sessions. Considering recent developments, I am excited to exchange ideas with industry experts about the possibilities and limitations of AI use in the field of medical and pharmaceutical translation—where very specialized knowledge is required and intellectual property protection is always a primary concern, in addition to patient safety and privacy.
